Specification of Natrosol 250 LR
Natrosol 250 is a series of off-white powders that are easily dispersed and disolve in hot or cold water, to produce solutions of varying viscosities. Chemically, it is cellulose of short to very long chain lenght that has been etherified to a hydroxyethyl ether to achieve of optimum balance of properties. Natrosol 250 is used as a viscosity and reology modifier, protective colloid, water retention agent, stabillizer, and suspending agent, particularly in those application where are nonionic material is desired.
