Specification of Benzoic Acid
Benzoic acid is an organic aromatic monocarboxylic acid. It can be synthesized by the cobalt or manganese catalyzed atmospheric oxidation of toluene. Recently, benzoic acid has been prepared from toluene by employing TiO2 nanotubes electrode.
Applications :
Food : An important antiseptic.
Feed : As an acidifier in feed additives to provide animals with healt and nutrition solutions.
Industrial : An antiseptic and fungicide applied in the mosquito-repellent incense and herbal syrup, mordant in the dyeing and printing industry and plasticizer for deep processing of various esters.
Medical : The doom of fungal skin disease, effective for eliminating the tinea manuum, tinea pedis, tinea corporis.
