Specification of Ammonium Sulphate
Ammonium sulfate (NH4) / ammonium sulphate or ZA fertilizer, is an inorganic salt with a commercial use source. The most common use is asoil fertilizer. It contains 21% nitrogen as ammonium cation, and 24% sulfur as sulfate anion.
The main use of ammonium sulfate is as an afertilizer for alkaline soils. In soil ammonium ions are released and the shape balance produces the amount of acid, lowering the pH of the soil, while the contribution of nitrogen is important for plant growth.
